Dwarf Angelfish (Centropyge)
Angelfish (Centropyge) are found in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Ocean.
Like many other reef fish and all marine angelfish, they are hermaphrodites, meaning that they start their adult lives as females and the dominant individual in a group will change to a male.
They live in loose groups in the wild and when kept to a tank, they will establish a pecking order. They can be quite shy until they have established their territory.
What do Angelfish eat?
Angelfish prefer a tank with cured "live rock", otherwise they may nip at corals and sessile invertebrates. In nature, they feed on algae, sponges and small invertebrates.
Reef Nutrition is your source for the best angelfish food for color and health including Arcti-Pods® (arctic pod concentrate, with natural colors from carotenoids, protein, omega fatty acids and waxy esters for growth), TDO Chroma Boost™ (nutritionally dense pellets, top-dressed with Haematococcus pluvialis), and MORE!
