Angelfish (Centropyge) are found in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Ocean.
Like many other reef fish and all marine angelfish, they are hermaphrodites, meaning that they start their adult lives as females and the dominant individual in a group will change to a male.
They live in loose groups in the wild and when kept to a tank, they will establish a pecking order. They can be quite shy until they have established their territory.
What do Angelfish eat?
Angelfish prefer a tank with cured "live rock", otherwise they may nip at corals and sessile invertebrates. In nature, they feed on algae, sponges and small invertebrates.
Reef Nutrition is your source for the best angelfish food for color and health including Arcti-Pods® (arctic pod concentrate, with natural colors from carotenoids, protein, omega fatty acids and waxy esters for growth), TDO Chroma Boost™ (nutritionally dense pellets, top-dressed with Haematococcus pluvialis), and MORE!

WHAT DO CARDINALFISH EAT?
Cardinalfish are a family (Apogonidae) of ray-finned, small, peaceful, and colourful fish. They are distinguished by their large mouths, and the division of the dorsal fin into two separate fins.
Most species live in tropical or subtropical waters, where they inhabit coral reefs and lagoons. They are nocturnal and spend the day in dark crevices within the reef.

What Do Clownfish Eat?
In the wild, Clownfish (aka anemonefish) form symbiotic relationships with sea anemones. Depending on species, they are overall yellow, orange, or reddish with many showing white bars or patches. The largest can reach a length of nearly 7 inches.
Clownfish are omnivorous and they primarily feed on small zooplankton from the water column, such as copepods and tunicate larvae, with a portion of their diet coming from algae.
In their natural environment, they feed on undigested food from their host anemones. The fecal matter from the clownfish also provides nutrients to the sea anemone.
Looking for the best food for your clownfish? Get eye-popping color with Reef Nutrition’s nutritious TDO Chroma Boost™. Independent research found TDO creates the reddest reds and whitest white! Our foods are produced in our pathogen-free, bio-secure facility for the cleanest and highest quality.

Best Food for Dragonets
Tigger-Pods®, our top-selling, live feed, will be attractive to dragonets, who enjoy chasing pods as they swim upwards with a stimulating, jerky motion.

Synchiropus splendidus also known as striped mandarinfish or striped dragonet
Dragonets, including mandarins, are one of the most beautiful fish found in the hobby. They can be very challenging to keep, so we recommend these to more advanced hobbyists. These fish should be kept in an established aquarium of 30 gallons, or more. Live rock, live sand or gravel and plenty of places to hide is required.
What makes dragonets challenging is their need to continuously feed on live zooplankton, such as copepods, isopods and amphipods. Without an abundance of live feed organisms in the aquarium, dragonets will starve. It is important to note that even if you have a mandarin or other type of dragonet eating TDO pellets and our other products, you will still need to provide them with a habitat that contains live zooplankton. This will ensure that they have something to eat in between feedings since they are constantly foraging.
To keep a diverse zooplankton population, we recommend our live copepods, Tigger-Pods and Apex-Pods. It is also important to note that it takes time to train dragonets to eat pellets or other dead food items, so be patient and make sure that your fish have ample live feed organisms to consume.
Reef Nutrition is your source for the best foods for healthy, colorful mandarins like Tigger-Pods®, our top-selling live food attracts mandarins who chase pods as they swim upwards with a stimulating. And Apex-Pods™, smaller live apocyclops panamensis pods, is another effective food for these finicky fish.
